Reunion 2009: West Coast A REUNION has been planned for Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Goleta Beach, Santa Barbara, CA. The reunion theme is: SPLASH DAY. Goleta Beach has been reserved for us from 10am to sunset. The caterers will be serving from 10am to 2pm. If you are interested in joining, please RSVP with myself and/or Marianna Hoberg. Passing of one of our own. Guys, I received this email from Susanne Flanagan today:Please post this information on your website where you feel appropriate. Thank you. My name is Susanne and I am the younger sister to Steve Motyka. Im writing with the sad news that Steve passed away totally unexpectedly at only 45 years old on Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Steve was at home when he died and whatever happened was fast, we're still waiting to hear from the medical examiners. Steve served in the 6931st Electronic Security Squadron, Iraklion Air Station Crete, Greece in the early 80's and also at Misawa, Japan 09/81 - 03/83 in the 6920th ESG, DAWG flt. I was about 12 or 13 years old at the time and knew he had a very important and secret job in the Air Force. I was very proud of my big brother. Return to Crete Dear Friends,This old Ditty Bopper will be leaving the USA on April 30th for a three month visit to Crete. I will be there until July 31st.
